I am involved with Connecticut Kids As Self Advocates, sign language club organizer at Fairfield Ludlowe HS. Northwestern Deaf Club and Disability On Wheels

What is your disability?

Profound deafness, Cerebral Palsy, Quadriplegia.  I may be deaf and in wheelchair, but I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!!!

Why are you involved in KASA?

I am involved with KASA, because I believe that it is very important to work together to educate the community about disability issues. People should be more aware of people with disabilities and teach “able-bodied” world that we are just like them, “just a little broken”.

I am currently a student at Northwestern Connecticut Community College. I’m taking general studies for now. My goal is to transfer to National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology and major in graphics/web design.
